Is anyone else excited about the movie adaptation of The Mortal Instruments? I've been reading the first book, and I'm starting to get excited. I knew when I saw it at Ulta that I HAD to snag a Parallel Worlds box, the NYX Cosmetics special box of makeup inspired by the upcoming movie.

The box is so cute! The themed-overlay, shown in the picture at right, is just cardboard wrapped around.If you take the cardboard overlay, the box looks like what is pictured on the left. But what's on the inside?





I haven't had the chance to play with these goodies yet! The cute mesh bag is filled with cosmetics...and there's also a look book to give you an example of how to use the makeup. Wanna have an innocent look like Clary? There's a look! Wanna replicate a sultry look like Isabelle? There's a look!


I can't wait to sit down and actually USE this stuff haha I've had so much going on lately that playing with my makeup has taken a back burner :( BUT! Here we've got a 6-color palette, pink blush, a neutral pink matte lip cream, black liquid liner, a jumbo eye pencil and  mascara. I'm going to have fun when I am actually able to sit down and play with it :)
