Milani has completely revamped their polish and eyeshadow lines - and I've got the low down on 30 ways to make your eyes pop! These amazing shadows retail for $3.99 (yes, you read that right $3.99) and, for the most, part are amazing. Some do have their issues, but overall, this collection is all kinds of great. From Milani's website:
A gel powder – what would that even look like? We’ll tell you: It looks like rich, vibrant color that glides on in a single stroke, delivering a stunning multi-dimensional effect. What makes it a gel powder? Well, the formula starts as a gel and then is transformed by a special process into a stunning powder eyeshadow with pure color and power wear. They most certainly ARE smooth like butter to the touch. They glide on easy, and with primer, they lasted all day on me. Granted, I should have tried without primer, but I didn't :) Sound intriguing? Wanna see some swatches? Check them out after the cut!
The unique process allows you to blend this incredibly innovative, weightless formula easily with your fingertips to light up your eyes. Even more to entice: It can used wet or dry, resists creasing, and comes in satin matte, shimmer and iridescent metallic finishes. You just have to try this gel powder. It’s that different.
I grouped these together, sort of, by color. I wanted them in smaller groups to show you comparisons on some shades. All shade names start with the word "Bella," but I omitted that in my labeling, as it would just muddle up the images. If you remember, I reviewed two of these that I had purchased myself a while back. I loved they way they felt, but the pigmentation was a little less than my liking (but as you can see below, compared to Taupe, Espresso is more pigmented!). So for all of these (and yes, I re-swatched the other two I previously swatched to compare colors), all of these were swatched dry, two swipes around the shadow. HOWEVER. These do exceptionally well, and glide on just as easily wet - some just have a little bit of a pigmentation problem dry. So pick your poison - here's the swatches!

Soooooooooooo, what do you think? As you can tell from some of the swatches, some of the shadows have issues with pigmentation, but none are horribly bad. Like I mentioned earlier, applying them wet helps :) My favorites are Mandarin, Sand and Cobalt! These are part of the core line of Milani makeup, so you can get them anytime (or from the website) - but if you see some you like, maybe you should pick them up? :)
