Custom polishes are so fun, right? Well, this is one of the latest I've managed to acquire, and it's another Literary Lacquers beauty! (I promise I've got a gorgeous LL collection coming up for next week to have you guys drooling!) This one I had made for my partner in a book swap group a few months ago. She's a huge fan of Literary Lacquers, and she's a polishaholic like me, so I just knew I had to get her something special!

My swap partner likes the colors blue and green, so I figured I'd get her something in blues and greens - and Amy (the maker behind LL) is amazing with holos. I suggested a blue holo with green flakies... and Amy just knocked it out of the park! How beautiful is this? I was sneaky in the swap group, and I asked everyone a question about their dream custom polish. Alex responded that she would like a polish that reminded her of Lake Chelan, where she was about to go on vacation. So here it is! This is Chelan Skies.


I could not be happier with the way this polish turned out. Amy made 2 - one for me and one for Alex. Having customs is so much fun! I just have to use it sparingly. I won't want to run out of this one for a while!
