I feel like a horrible blogger. I have so many awesome things to show you guys, and I just can't get it together. I've had these new Julie G polishes for quite a while, but I've just been too lazy to post them. I'm awful! These 5 polishes are core colors, and can be found now!
This blue beauty is Something Blue, a polish designed for the wedding of Jesse's daughter, Christine. She's literally Jesse's Girl :) haha! (In case you didn't know, Julie G polishes are produced by Jesse's Girl Cosmetics). Christine was married last year, and this was the blue of her wedding. It's a gorgeously pigmented polish, and believe it or not, there was no staining. I used 2 coats for what's pictured. It's really just a lovely color.
This bright, fun shade is Tropical, a neonish minty turquoise. It's a little thick in consistency, but not so bad that it was hard to use. I used 2 thin coats for what pictured and ended up having no trouble.
Your Majesty is a deep lilac shade with some shimmer thrown in - and it's so pretty! The formula is really good for a borderline pastel shade, and I only needed 2 coats for what's pictured.
The bubblegum pink of the collection Riviera, and while it's nicely pigmented, and the formula is really great - almost a one-coater! - it's just not a shade I'd normally wear. I do see it being useful in nail art (like Inspired by a Book manis!)
Last, but not least, is Lilac Frost, a pale lilac shimmer. It's one of the lightest pastels in my collection, I'd say. It's a pretty whiteish purplish shade with hints of shimmer throughout. Does that make sense? hahah The formula is on the thin side, but it builds up perfectly. It's very light and delicate.
Have you tried any Julie G polishes? You can buy these at Rite Aid or on the Jesse's Girl Cosmetics website. Price point is $3.99. I have a LOT of Julie G polishes, and I love them all. Some of the best quality polishes in my collection! :)
**DISCLAIMER** I was not paid for this review by anyone. I either purchased these products myself or was given it as a gift.
